Mobile School

The three Switcher mobile buses-equipped itinerant buses-give free access to education for street children, who either work or are deprived of all support, whether from parents or family.

After studying the sector, interviewing and choosing the staff, identifying the children and the itinerary, the first Switcher mobile bus was inaugurated in 2005, followed by a second one in 2006 thanks to the sponsorship of the BeauSoleil Alpine College in Villars. Since September 2009, a third Mobile school is running thanks to the sponsorship of the German rock band "Die Toten Hosen"(www.dth.de)
Today, over 120 pupils attend these Mobile Schools, a first step towards regular schooling.
